Covid Court Fine Help

Could you elaborate on what type of socialising ?
An underground rave with 5 people at it for instance would seem odd.1 -
Yes, it was drinks at a friend from works house.0

If there was any incorrect part of the name, my first action would be to verify with the court that they had the right person and the proper procedure has been followed - and I wouldn't be accepting or offering to pay anything as depending on just where in the legal food-chain it sits, there is a distinct possibility that after this amount of time, it may be out of time or need knocked-back to the first step and require re-issuing with the correct details.
Seeking proper legal advice would indeed be a very wise step just now!
Incidentally, did you just give your details, or do you have the original ticket/caution or any other paperwork issued in the interim? There should have been a fair-old paper chain before it got to the stage of them going after your employers for an attachment!1 -

It's a very sad state of affairs when we have a government imposing fines for the crime of going round to your workmates house for a few drinks, especially when those at number 10 were breaking their own covid regs repeatedly and in far larger numbers

That happened in England not Wales - as seems I discovered each country even though Boris is the PM of UK have/had different rules, as I first thought during the speech at first watched and then found later, only England! I'm going on a bit now.MiserlyMartin said:joseffoliver97 said:Yes, it was drinks at a friend from works house.

Yes health is one of the devolved issues but Johnson could have recalled them using the Civil Contingencies Act at the very start but chose not to.sheramber said:The rules are different because Health is a devolved issue.0
