Window noise
Options
Hi bought a new car recently and there seems to be excessive noise or air getting through the drivers side window or door when motorway driving. Dealer looked at it and said there’s nothing wrong with the window or seals etc. Has anyone any ideas how I could solve this other than selling the car?lol

The make and model of car may help.0

Is it a 60 year old Ford Anglia or a brand new Rolls Royce?1

It’s a 2015 Citroen C10

A lot of reviews of the c1 mention excessive wind noise from the windscreen pilar so it may just be something you have to live with. Not sure if it would make any difference but you can get wind deflectors that clip to the front edge and top of the front door glass, might be worth a try.0

Yes I’ve had c1s before but this one just seems louder and like there’s some flapping type noise when at high speed. Can’t work out whether it’s from the window or gap in the door0

Wind down the window, open the door and put your knee against the door and try and pull the frame in a fraction.
It may work, it may not. Don't be too heavy handed.0 -
I’ll give it a try. Is there anything you can buy that makes the window and door gaps tighter?0
