    I had hoped that they might offer to replace it with the item that they were advertising on their website when I ordered, i.e. the Chromebook with a touchscreen. 
    Did you ask them for a resolution or did you just point out the mistake?

    What did your original email to JL say, were you just pointing our their error or did you ask for a resolution
