Interesting that phoebe has referenced plaster, that's what I thought those colours looked like. We bought a studio flat for my OH to live in whilst working away from home, and couldn't live with a painted wall looking like bare plaster!

I've used Dulux Mellow Mocha in the past. Had it in my North facing study and a South facing guest bedroom. Neutral &  definitely not overly pink, might fit the bill.

It was spending 2 years with a bare plaster ceiling that decided for us that it was a colour we rather liked!
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

    Why thank you :)

We moved here last year and inherited Dulux Soft Truffle in the kitchen/diner, which is similar in tone but a much deeper colour.

Also inherited this https://www.wallpaperdepot.co.uk/uncategorised-c8/johnstones-2-5l-raspberry-blush-kitchen-and-bathroom-paint-p5844 in North facing guest bedroom. Very much an acquired taste, and I might revert to Mellow Mocha - more in keeping with our advancing years.

  • HIGHLY recommend Lick paint. I flipping love that the  samples are big stickers so you can move it around the room to understand how it will look in different lighting. Highly recommend the paint itself, and the descriptions on the site are helpful (im sure one is described as a pinky greige or a greige pink!).

Similarly, we used Decorating Centre online to colour match F&B Railings and much prefer the paint we got. I know some of the trades appear to be a bit hit and miss but DCO seem to hit the spot every time for us.
