Eon problems won’t transfer to eon next/ also wrong meter fitted!

Hi I was with Igloo and automatically transferred to Eon Next rates 4.2pkwh gas and 21.61 electric
I then moved to new house that was set up with Eon  I emailed them 3 weeks before moving that I was
I was not notified of rates at new house but have smart meter ( no standing charge info)
two days after moving in I rang eon to ask about this and request move to previous rates and Eon Next. 45mins and 5 people couldn’t sort this
I gave meter readings and meter numbers
was then told I was giving neighbours electric meter number. Builders fixed them to wrong houses. I sent photos of both meters to named person (shahzad Niazi) as proof
he says it’s complicated and site needs checking and all this may take time. I put in complaint to Ceo but Shahzad said he’d deal with it ! I’m not happy
I have been told I’m on SVT but don’t know standing charge. But this is far more expensive than eon next and they won’t move me over for weeks
what can I do yo make this hapoen?
what can I do I to get meter sorted?
how can I get complaint dealt with by higher up different person?! I’m so worried about my bill and why they are dragging their feet?!
help please
thank you
none of this is my fault!

E.ON Next's SVT is the same as E.ON's, is the same as BG's, is the same as SSE's, is the same as SP, is the same as the 4.2pkwh gas and 21.61 electric tariff you were on ex-Igloo.

The builders, or more likely their agent, are guilty of mis-registering your MPRN on the National Database. My personal example: when a property is built it is allocated a plot number as postcodes etc come just before the first property is occupied. Each plot is allocated a MPAN and a MPRN. When the two meters are installed they are linked to the property’s MPAN or MPRN.

My property was plot 6 (postal number 14). My gas meter was registered on the database as if it was at No 6. The meter at No 5 (plot 14) was registered to my postal address - No 14.

The remedy. Contact your supplier and provide them with a photograph of the actual meter fitted to your property. The photo needs to show the meter serial number. Ask them to identify the MPRN linked to your meter serial number. Armed with this information, the supplier can then change the database to link your postal address to the correct MPRN. Do not allow them to break the existing link between the MPRN and meter serial number as this will leave one of your neighbours stranded.

It follows that one of your neighbours has been paying your bill. You will find that your neighbours have the same problem and they will need to speak to their suppliers. On a small development of 14 homes, it took 6 months to resolve the issue across a number of suppliers.

I should add the builders do not install meters. Electric meters are installed by your regional District Network Operator and gas meters are installed by Cadent or an independent gas transporter.
