in respect of POPLA - you didn't seem to have much trouble in putting together a winning one against ParkingEye in 2018. Not much has changed since then, and you can recap on the necessary appeal elements and how to phrase them in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, third post.
You are right - I was successful previously but different circs. I know, I know, they all amount to the same thing. Lost my confidence I guess. Thank you0 -
So we have a parking bay, with a sign that says No Parking At Any Time, and next to that sign is another sign from another company giving a website address for booking a parking space - no, that's not at all contradictory. 🙄
And as it says No Parking At Any Time then it is impossible for any contractual charge to be levied - one cannot contract to do that which is forbidden - and private companies cannot impose penalties.
And the text size on the sign is small, so difficult to read thus any T&Cs cannot be clear and obvious.
And loading/unloading (dropping off a parcel) is not parking.
LOTS to go at here.Jenni x3 -

The signs near the parcel depot are forbidding in nature, meaning there is no offer (to park) therefore there can be no acceptance of a contract to park. As already mentioned, you cannot agree to do something that is prohibitd.
In addition, any charge for breaching parking terms cannot be read since either the font is too small, or it is not actually there at all.
Getting your own photos (on foot) of the signs from say, a car length away would be useful to show that the signs cannot be read from the driver's perspective.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks3 -
Update:
Thank you all - went to a POPLA appeal and I was successful! I will post details on the POPLA thread.
Thanks again for all very helpful advice!4 -
Congratulations on your successful appeal. I've got an ongoing appeal in the exact same place. Awaiting further response from them regarding my initial appeal. This is really encouraging though. If you could post your POPLA appeal, that would be great.1
