Happy 60th to Mr KK, sounds like a lovely weekend.
This new possible job sounds interesting - i nowadays tend to only work for small companies, contracting direct to the ceo, I cant be dealing with the politics of larger ones .., a friend of mine does a lot of project mgt and she is always tearing her hair out midst zoom as to all the chaos,
I think even getting below £200k will be a big win - have you looked at when that is due to happen and the track your OPs against shortening the time for the sub £200k. Then you can refocus on £190k etcDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Yesterday was a strange day …
Colleague was in a far better mood and far more civil. Maybe she realised she annoyed me last week and I am useful enough to be with keeping around …? 🙄 I asked another colleague who works in the same office but in a different team if she had noticed anything last week. She had - to her I had obviously been frustrated that my suggestion had been dismissed bluntly. At least I now know I wasn’t being overly sensitive. Day went on okay until right to the end when I discovered that the work instructions that need to be written all have to be done within two weeks as well as inspection reports! I genuinely don’t know how that can be done …
Then came home for the video recording - it wasn’t an interview at all, much more of a ‘personality snapshot’. Very odd. No idea how I did or if I am what is wanted. We will see …. 🤷♀️😊 Gave it my best shot.Done some financial updates to the end of February but didn’t have time to do a new YNAB sheet for March so don’t know what I could send off for eom OPs etc.Got up to 11K steps and as a small act of self care, I rinsed out, refreshed and cut the stems in the vase of flowers I bought myself last week 😊 Also brought down the magnetic catch that has fallen out of my craft cupboard because the wood block that supports it has split, as a gentle reminder to Mr KK …
Not quite sure how today will pan out - there is a LOT to do and I want to get my MOT and service booked before early April.

Busy day - 12K steps without getting anywhere near a walk! Work is winding up to be horribly busy - I’m trying not to get stressed but had a wobble this morning …
Did manage to book my MOT. Not sure if it needs a full or part service but our mechanic says he will get all the filters in and if it needs them he will use them and if doesn’t, he won’t 😊 I’ve booked it for a Friday so I can have a long weekend in a couple of weeks time 😊
Dinner was bit late and so have t done much this evening but:
- Mr KK tried his birthday present, self heated gilet in the garage and it works! 😊👏
- I did some tapestry whilst watching Voyager 😊
- Rummaged through my seeds and brought down the ones I want to sow. I have quite consciously decided to focus on flowers this year and mainly buy baby veggie plants from the local plant centre, but I do have specific varieties of cucumber and courgette I want to grow … 😉😊

Ooh, nice idea to focus on flowers 😊 I had a year off veg last year so do want to grow some this year, but someone bought me a large collection of flower seeds for Christmas so I'd like to get some of those in too. We'll see!2

I always think it is lovely to focus on flowers. Sadly WattyDog does not so we have very few here, although the spring "patch" is looking lovely at the moment.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2
