Even if you don't sign up to the alerts, it's worth remembering that this will always need to be done after Completing on a sale/purchase. If a few months have passed and you've not received a new title register in the post either follow up with your solicitors or pay £3 to LR to check. They can check online through their secure portal anytime and confirm if started or delayed for any reason.I wouldn’t recommend checking online for £3 as you may find yourself doing that a few times before it’s actually processed/completed.Around 85% of register updates complete within a few hours of being started. The delay until then is simply ‘wait time’ with nothing happening to it. So it’s only worth checking the register online after it’s all been done but as your solicitor does that why pay £3 or more“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Land Registry. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
