My monthly pensions are just under the amount I need to pay the rent each month for a typical 2-bed flat in my area. So I have set aside one year's rent out of my redundancy payment (which I haven't even touched). I'm determined to buy my property before the tenancy agreement is up. And if the property I buy needs updating at least I'll have somewhere to stay until the end.0 -
