Bought item online but never received it

Hi
I bought an item online a month ago but I havent received it and the seller says theyve sold it and delivery company says they delivered it, but I have not received anything!
I paid for it using my Paypal account. (I had credit in there). Am I able to ask Paypal to get my money back? Or my bank (even though the money was credit in my Paypal account rather than from my bank account).
Both the seller and delivery company have washed their hands of it!
Thanks

If they genuinely have proof of delivery neither your bank nor PayPal will refund you, it'll be the small claims track you need to go to.1

Ask for proof of delivery and date first1

I would start by asking the retailer to supply you with proof of delivery, as you have not received the item.
Give them a deadline by when you would like this (7 days is reasonable) then state that unless they can prove it was delivered (e.g. your signature, a photo showing the parcel in your doorway) then you would either like a replacement to be sent out ASAP or a full refund.
Make it clear that you did NOT give permission for the parcel to be left in any safe place or with a neighbour so the proof needs to show the parcel was delivered to you.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1 -
Only Pay Pal can assist. But with the retailer having proof of delivery do not hold out any hope of a refund via that route.
Bank can not help you as it has nothing to do with them as funding was via pay pal credit.
So is this something bought via Ebay?

It is always worth going to the bank/card that funded the transaction to Paypal as some will help.born_again said:Only Pay Pal can assist. But with the retailer having proof of delivery do not hold out any hope of a refund via that route.

Also, I don't see any reference to ebay. A seller can be a seller on any platform. FWIW eBay will only help up to 30 days after latest estimated or actual delivery.0 -

It's the mention of "Seller" in Op that made me wonder, Yes there are other places selling. So it would help if OP made it clear. 👍
As Op said it was paid via Credit in PayPal account that has nothing to do with bank. No matter how it was funded.Life in the slow lane0 -
I stated 'bank' as that is what you quoted in your post and it was your post I was quoting.born_again said:

Moot, though as whatever merchant/bank/card funded the payment MAY help. I have had it myself so I know it is possible. It costs nothing to ask them.0
