new boiler

I have had a new boiler fitted and the installer was corgi regsitered. He has filled out the log book and has left that with me. He told me that i would get certificate by post. Can anyone please tell me how long does the certificate takes to arrive. My boiler was installed on 21 Nov so it has been 3 weeks now.

I would imagine this time of year it will be slower than normal as it is the housebuilders year ends meaning lots of boilers are being installed so there may well be a bit of a backlog. I would give it until beginning of jan, if you havent heard anything by then, give them a bell.

I think it will be a corgi headed commissioning certificate from the plumber.

I emailed corgi and they replied that installer has to notify corgi within 20 days and then it will take corgi another two weeks to issue the certificate. I think i can wait another week and then chase the installer if i have not received by then.
