Ultimately whether the mail has or hadn’t been redirected is a minor issue although I appreciate your concerns. It is more important, if you are to remain as an Executor, that you find a way to work with the other Executor. You will be equally liable if anything goes wrong. It does sound like the relationship is currently bad but it may get worse if you don’t get involved now. Also, for your own peace of mind, you need to know what is happening as you are clearly already worried.0

If you've got old correspondence and a copy of the will, just drop into the branch if they still have one, or ring and ask the bereavement team. Given that the other executor is not being helpful?
And bear in mind that it has not been unknown on MSE for someone who is not an executor to go to a bank or BS and obtain the money just because they have a copy of the death certificate and sign a waiver.Well it's partly about trust. He's told me he hasn't done that. I want to know if he's telling the truth. I want to know is if can trust him as executor. Also, it could also be about fraud. If mail's been stolen or redirected, it might be pilfer money. And I'm not naming anyone here. It could be a third party who learned of the death.0 -

You could always send a letter to the address, if it doesn't arrive then it's most likely being redirected - or stolen if the box lock is broken.I did this recently just to check that the redirection I had put in for my deceased DM's address was working as I wasn't receiving any mail. It came back, not as fast as it should have but RM are having problems. Seems that between the 'tell us once' service and me telling her friends the mail has dried up.1

Not really clear how far the administration process has got, but have you advised the property insurers/utility providers of your sister's passing? If so, they may well be sending correspondence to "executor of xxxx" at their home address? Banks too would probably correspond with executors in this way.
If not, somebody should do this ASAP particularly relating to insurance as restrictions and conditions are usually applied to empty properties.
Who is currently paying utilities etc?
