Can someone recommend me a ball joint type grease suitable for non-sealed part

£50 for a tube of grease.
Really dont want to fork out £50 for this. Is there something similar I could use that's a lot cheaper?

valvoline vv986 should be fine.
If this is for occasional greasing of a ball joint or two, can't you stick your head into a workshop you know and ask for a dollop of some grease?0 -
Thanks for the suggestion, i might be taking a risk here but I ordered this unlabelled pot. I only need a tiny amount, about 6 pea sized.
