    Love the idea that a 2010 car is getting on a bit. None of mine are that new! Don't ditch it just because there is an issue, minor things like this happen on cars but you'll be avoiding any depreciation.

    How does an inanimate piece of tin make a noise unless it is flapping in the wind ?  I suspect it is more likely the wheel bearings are causing the noise and the backplates will be replaced at the same time as they are corroded.
