So it's looking like I'll go TSB. Chase would be nice but it's APP ONLY & i'd have to buy a new phone as my Anderoid 8.1 Moto G5 is 32bit not 64bit.... ridiculous

TSB is rubbish though. The savings pots only pay 2.5% interest. I wouldn't settle for anything less than 4% interest in this environment.sdelasal said:So it's looking like I'll go TSB. I have had direct debits fail unexpectedly due to a 'technical issue'. This issue appears to have improved over time mind you.jbrassy said:
Please elaborate? I only opened an account last week and no issues to date.ryan92 said:In all honesty, with personal experience of using Kroo for over 7 months, I'd avoid using them. Nothing but issues and a serious lack of customer support.
The major issue I've had is with my salary being held for internal review every single month ; this delay in getting my salary means that some direct debits fail.
Contacting Kroo is another story! When my April salary had been held for review, I contacted them in the app chat. They eventually got back to me in June apologising for the delay and drowned me with terms and conditions about how they were within rights to hold the payments.
I get that payment reviews can happen, but consistently every month with very little customer support is concerning. That's before I even get to the fact they put a delay in my salary payment last month until I confirmed the name and date of birth of the sender...... (I work for a UK company so that would have been impossible).
