Candy GCC590NB 9KG Condenser Tumble dryer takes a really long time to dry clothes (SOLVED)

Hi all
Our tumble dry has been acting up
recently, it works, but it takes so long to dry clothes, it takes 2-3
cycles to properly dry clothes, whereas it use to do that before the end
of the 1st cycle, has anyone here got experience with Candy tumble
dryers? Is this to be expected because of the age of the unit (roughly 5
years old)? By the way, I always clean the lint trap before beginning a
new cycle, and the condenser is cleaned regularly too, I know that not
doing those two things can affect how well the tumbler functions.
EDIT (solution): I've managed to find the solution to this problem
if you're having a similar problem then try cleaning the condenser unit at the bottom of the tumble dryer, you need to take it out and and give a good rinse, I don't know how that fixed the problem because the condenser looked clean to me but somehow rinsing it did the job and it started working nicely afterwards.

If your drying the same loads as before then yes, your machine must be playing up if garments are still wet after a cycle.
So many factors affect performance. Weight, fabric, water temperature, etc...
I always do a dry spin in my machine after washing clothes to reduce the dampness before throwing them on the line or tumble dryer.1 -
