UC Budgeting Advance

Hello, I have been thinking about applying for a Budgeting Advance from Universal Credit, from what I see online I can ask for upto £348.
However I am still repaying my new claim advance payment, the last repayment of which is in March.

If I was to ask for a Budgeting Advance now, would it be declined because I have not yet fully repaid the new claim Advance?
Also, If I was successful in getting the advance, do I have to provide receipts for what I’ve spent it on and account for every penny of it?
Thank you

You need to pay off your existing loan before you can have another. There's no guarantee you'll get it but if you do you do not need to keep any receipts.

A budgeting advance can run along side a new claims advance, but can only be applied for once you have been on a relevant benefit for 6 months. Only existing budgeting advances need to be repaid in full before you can re-apply for one.
Drop a journal message or ring the service centre and they will check if you are eligible.
