FTB Mortgage and Credit Card

Hello all
Bit of advice needed.
Last year I found a property as first time buyer and had 2 hard searches done and approved due to one valuation being too low and then second valuation being even lower.
I now have a credit card which is past its 0% interest period.
I can apply to a new card and it said pre approved so should not fail but if I applied for new credit card and transferred balance so my credit use is the same will this impact me getting another mortgage application when I find another property to buy in the next few months?
Thanks

You'll probably be ok applying for another card now if you're a few months away from a mortgage application.
But get out of the habit of carrying a balance. Get it cleared and make yourself more attractive to a lender.0 -

Want to clear all debt and just be left with mortgage and bills to pay.Well I may find a new property next month or 4 months down the road. I am more cautious about it if I do need to apply for mortgage 1 to 2 months after getting new credit. My score is good but as people say that dont matter to lenders when applying for mortgage. If my credit use dont increase from when I was approved mortgage it should be ok but hard search after 2 mortgage searches back in August and September might have impact.
