Deleting an email address

Hi
In my work e mail account which is part of G mail but the domain name address is like for eg joebloggs@z123xz.co.uk
When i compose e mails and sending to certain staff it comes up with two address's one of which is the persons private email and the other her work e mail.
How do i delete her private one from the memory?
When i open compose and on the right hand side i click on contacts it doesn't show any contacts to delete yet if i was to send this person and others CC'ed in an email it lists her two emails and i click on the 1st option most times as i forget both her e mails are listed.
Her e mail address is in my own private google contacts though if that makes a difference.
