Attaching shower hose to mixer tap - adapter?

Hi All,
Happy New Year!
I wanted to replace the shower hose and I think I unscrewed too much?
The bath tub mixer tap (hansgrohe Ecostat 1001 CL) now has a 'hole' (= female thread), and the old shower hose has a male thread (diameter 15mm). It looks like there is like a little adapter or alike still attached to the hose, but I can't get it loose. With my attempts to loosen it, I may also have damaged the thread.
So I was wondering whether there indeed is an adaptor, or did I just get the wrong hose (and that there are ones with a male thread to go into the hole/female thread of the mixer tap)? If there's an adapter, what might be the name of this? I already tried finding one, but wasn't successful.
Many thanks in advance!

Hello Andre,I'm not a bathroom expert but I've done several DIY bathroom refits and I have not come across the adaptor you refer to. Is the hose and connections in the attached image the sort of thing you are looking for?Regards,Randolf_B0

Still may be useable, cant see damaged threads bit fuzzy photo.
Looks like Its this part (9) they often come out

Hi, the photo isn't the OP's hose, it's a photo I uploaded to help him, if he confirms that it resembles what he's looking for.Hopefully he'll upload a photo himself so we can see what he needs.Regards,Randolf_B1 -
Sorry for the delay, I (unexpectedly) wasn't online to follow this thread. @Another_Level, exactly, I guess it is part 9 in the drawing (they call it 'connection thread')
Any tips how I might get it off? I found one place which sells it for £15 (possibly plus shipping) which is more than I paid for the new shower hose and head
Picture attached below (left new hose; right old hose possibly still with connection thread attached). Edit: In the picture, the left connector/thread looks bigger, but that's just the way I held it, it's actually the same outer diameter as the 'angled/nut' bit of the old hose)

Can't edit anymore, so in another post: When I re-assemble it (either with a new part or in case I get the old one off), is there a way to make sure that it doesn't happen again in the future? For example, using silicone lubricant (this thicker stuff which comes in a tub somewhat like handcream) or this very thin sealant tape one can wrap around threads.0

Hi,to remove it you could try using vice grips.0

Grip the chrome part just below the o-ring and use a spanner on the nut and unscrew ,refit the part back into the tap and then fit the new hose ,do not over tighten the hose .0

Argh, just ordered new parts, incl shipping for £23. Because we needed the shower, I screwed in the old hose this morning. Unscrewed again this afternoon to try above tips and, of course, this time the 'connection thread' stayed in the mixer tap and all is fine
Tried to cancel the order, let's see whether that works, otherwise another spare part to get lost in some tool box.0 -
If you ordered it online/by phone etc. you are covered by distance selling regulations for returning (or not accepting) it as long as you tried to cancel within 14 days.1
