Steam Family Sharing

I am unclear with Steam Family Sharing whether 2 people can play different games at the same time from the same person's library (I know you can't play the same one). I thought it used to allow it but it isn't now. One person gets kicked off. Is it me getting the setup wrong or is it not possible?

No, only one person can play any game in the library at a single point in time.Jenni x1 -

You can if you put one version of Steam in offline mode (or disconnect from the internet), provided that the game is offline.1

Although technically not on a family shared account, only if both Steam installs are logged in on the main account.1
