Mortgage offer expires = chain falls apart

I wouldn't threaten to pull out unless I meant it. I would start by telling the parties when your mortgage offer will expire1

First of all, by reading your other threads it might be advisable to keep stress levels to a minimum . I know that is easier said than done, we are on a very tight timescale too but not down to mortgages .
I'm not particularly au fait with mortgages but why won't your own company extend for a short time , I'm not sure what your broker has flatly said no.
If your sellers seller is holding things up there maybe a reason which won't get sorted anytime soon so you need a contingency plan.
Possibly look at other properties just in case this isn't viable , at least then you will feel a bit more in control
