Life insurance - how much detail is needed?

Having recently purchased my first home, I want to get life insurance in place ASAP.
I've done a quote with Moneysupermarket and the level of questions around health is quite detailed. I'm nervous I'm going to miss something out or add the wrong date to a particular illness or issue I've had previously - most of which are relatively minor - which could impact a payout.
Is it best to get a copy of your full medical records (if such a thing is possible) before getting a policy, or am I over thinking it?
Also, is it possible to get cover without full medical history to avoid such issues in the first place?

Usually, they are only interested in recent years minor illnesses with no long-lasting impact. Typically 5 years. So, it shouldn't be difficult to remember that. And anything more severe should again be quite memorable. Is it best to get a copy of your full medical records (if such a thing is possible) before getting a policy, or am I over thinking it?No its not. Unless you have an extremely bad memory or very long history of lots of illnesses. Also, is it possible to get cover without full medical history to avoid such issues in the first place? You don't need full medical history.
