I think approaching the Citizens Advice Service would be the best way to have all the £££ problems sorted out together. Their involvement is taken seriously and helps creditors adopt a more reasonable stance. And they will help you find a firmer path to handling a household budget.

You'll stop digging the hole deeper by robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Thanks! I just found out that Halifax won’t give us any debt consolidation so I think we need to do a second charge mortgage. It’s a minefield.
