SAMSUNG UE50RU7470UXXU 50"

TV has begun to give out a commentary on every programme we watch and it is most annoying. I have tried everything from looking at youtube videos to now asking on here. The youtube vids seem to be using older TV models than mine. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to shut it off.
Thanks Jeff.

Sounds like Audio Description (AD) is turned on. Is this when watching regular broadcasts or using for example a catch up app on a smart TV? I've noticed today that on my Sony TV that AD is permanently turned on when using the All4 app.
  • Thank you for the reply. I seldom use catch up TV as you can't eliminate adverts like when recorded.
Just watched Emmerdale and and it's like a running commentary, such a body is now eating crisps or drinking from a glass, it is driving me and the wife mad.
I have searched through the settings but cannot find anything that fits the description as how to disable this most annoying feature.
    Thanks again Jeff.

So are you viewing via the built in Freeview tuners on the TV or an external device such as Sky, Freesat, Freeview or cable?

Which I why I asked how they were viewing, on my Sky Q box you press the "?" button to get to the AD setting.

I am viewing via Sky Q.
I did a full reset but the problem is still there. Just hope nothing is wrong with TV. There is also a Bixby remote which has never been used so I think I can eliminate that.
I have since been into settings but cannot see anything different to before the reset.
