Odour from new shower

    May be from the disconnected toilet/basin but also check your shower trap is installed correctly.

    If you lift the top off there should be a removable basket type thing inside, this is what blocks the smells coming back up.
  • Thanks all. I’m 90% convinced it’s from the tiles and/or grout. The separate toilet room had the same smell. It’s not from the toilet itself. 

    I’m hoping it will dissipate with time.
