Looking to buy nationwide coverage breakdown cover - AXA comes out quite good on reviews but wondered if anybody had any experience of their service? Annual policy cost coming out at around £70 which seems cheap compared to RAC and AA.
Never had breakdown cover before so any useful hints and tips welcome.

I'm in same position. RAC renewal due, up from £111 last year now £165 a whopping 50% increase!. Called them out for a flat battery and had to wait on a cold carpark for 7 hours on a Sunday during Coronavirus, though their technician was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Axa have highest rating of breakdown cover providers on Which?, and are also amongst the cheapest (£95 quote for Nationwide+home for 2 people personal cover), claimed 51 minute average wait borne out by Which? customer survey. Had AutoAid previously, who were terrible despite how much they seem to be promoted on this site - their breakdown truck broke down!
Still not found any opinions on Axa though, because (ironically) I don't trust TrustPilot.0 -
Have a look at the Nationwide Flex plus current account which is £13/month but includes top level AA breakdown cover, travel insurance and mobile phone cover.
Possibly worth considering if you would use those additional policies."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -

Make of that what you will.
