Just had a new carpet fitted to the stairs and need to fit a handrail, will a brushed stainless steel one give us a static shock every time we go upstairs? Random question I know…
if no, what if we are in trainers, or socks? Just don’t want to order one and fit it only to be scared to touch the damn thing!

Is the carpet synthetic or a wool / natural fibre? Polypropylene is supposed to be low static. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Hi Rosa, the carpet name from carpet right is: MILAN 4M 97 SLATE SE
can’t find it on their website as it was 2/3 years ago when it was ordered. I think it’s polypropylene looking at similar carpets they stock0
