Moving without a car

I’m moving (around 200miles) next week but I won’t have access to a car so I’ll have to let the movers take absolutely everything, except for what I on my own can carry easily on public transport. So, any recommendations of what I should carry in my rucksack and small suitcase? I’m going to take my laptop and important…

Have had to do this myself twice once single and once with spouse and 2 children in tow. In effect your whole life is boxed up and taken away and you survive with just you and your wits.

Only take what you feel you will need for your journey and anything that is important to you that cannot be replaced if lost. Extra clothes should your journey be delayed.

Maybe look at your journey route and find other ways to get there if you come across any delay.
