Does anyone know what address I should send my cut-up Capital One credit card to in order to immediately Cancel it / Close my account?

Most lenders do not ask you to return the card. A phone call to customer services (0800 952 5150) should be all that's required, but ask Capital One to confirm closure in writing
If the promised confirmation letter does not arrive within a couple of weeks, phone once again to ask why.
Finally, check your credit reports to make sure the a/c is marked "settled"
The whole process (from the initial phone call ) can sometimes span a couple of months, so allow plenty of time. IME, C1 is particularly slow.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
