I bought my day 2 test from Randox.
An LFD is a rapid test where the device itself checks the result, and is therefore in general recommended for the pre-departure test due to both cost and in the case of recent recovery from Covid its sensitivity.
Most pharmacies will be able to do an LFD on site for around €25 (from experience in France, Western Europe doesn't really interest me at all).💙💛 💔0 -

Depending where you are it can be cheaper to take with you or to source locally. There is also the logistic ease of the whole process. Plus the risks if you test positive and have taken the test locally or not.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
