Hi,
We ( my wife and I ) both fully vaccinated,  we are returning to England and wondering if our kids have to to Day 2 Test, they are 12,13, and 15 years old.

Also someone told me that he was denied boarding the flight because he had an issue with the locator form application, he did not have some sort of reference ID for his Day 2 test, can anyone shed light on this. Thanks

Hi , these are the rules for entry to England for children .

Children aged 12 to 17 must take a COVID-19 test in the 2 days before travel to England.

Children aged 5 to 17  have to quarantine on arrival and take a PCR test on or before day 2. ( you must pay for these before you return and use the booking references on the PLF)

Both adults need to complete and submit a separate Passenger Locator Form in the 48 hours before you arrive in England. You add the children’s information to the parents form.

It will be the same for you and your children, you will all need to quarantine ( at home ) until you receive the results of the PCR test .

If the children  need to be back to school soon after your arrival pick a test provider who gets the results back quickly , maybe best for you to choose an in person test rather than a postal one to avoid any delay in ending your quarantine.

You can find all the rules here:

Buy your day 2 test (online eg at Boots or Randox) before you leave to board the flight home - put the order number(s) on the PLF(s)

    When are you travelling?
