Amex card with Amazon

I am considering applying for the Amex card with Amazon, mainly I admit to get the £50 Amazon voucher. Will I be able to cancel in the first year to avoid the subsequent £50 per year fee? Does anyone know how soon you get the Amazon voucher? TIA

I signed up on a £100 sign up bonus last summer. The promotional credit applied immediately in my case, and I was able to terminate the card a few months later.0

Is this the business credit card? If not do you have a link - I can’t find it.0

Not the best card on the market.
Amex gold better option but cancel before end of 1st year to avoid £140 annual fee. Spend 3K in first 3 months to get the bonus points. 2 free airport lounge passes regardless of spend.
Lots of ways to spend AMEX points0 -
Why not have both?0

The business card is for businesses right?crumpet_man said:Why not have both?
and the gold card is for people with high spend? (I haven’t spent anything like that)0 -
What I mean is, having one doesn't stop you from having the other. For the Amex Amazon card you don't need to spend anything and you get a £50 Amazon gift credit. For the Amex Gold, you do actually have to spend on it to get rewards but the rewards will be greater than the Amex Amazon card.lisyloo said:

Agreed, with Amex you need a spare card anyway as there are always places that don’t take it.crumpet_man said:
