Do you hav a power of atterny in place for your mum. I'm just thinking if someone does find out she has been giving you money for looking after he then they might take it thr wrong way.

Isn't Attendance Allowance intended for paying someone to look after you, either full or part time?  I don't see why the OP should feel guilty if her mum's AA is used for the purpose intended.  When I looked after my mum she gave me £50 a week as I had no other income other than what my husband earned. It helped to cover petrol to get to her, and all the things I did for her e.g. taking her washing home with me, paying for parking for her shopping etc.
Used to be Bogof_Babe.  It did need updating!

It can be used for anything you want to use it on. I never said the OP should feel guilty. I said why would you take money from your mum for looking after her. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

It doesn’t matter what people spend any of their benefits on.

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
