PCR home test missed postal Collection?

Firstly, happy new year all!
I ordered a home PCR test the other day (positive lateral flow and no walk in or drive through appointments available). It arrived yesterday morning, I did it straight away and put it in the priority postbox ahead of yesterday's earlier collection time. But, the tracking for it still says unable to track try again tomorrow - I'm slightly worried that this means it hasn't been collected and will sit in the post box until the next collection tomorrow, 48 hours after I did it.
If this is the case, will that have an impact on the results? Concerned that the results may be void or inaccurate.

Did you get your test results ok and how did it go? This is a problem that must be all too common so it would be interesting to hear if this effected your result if it sat in the postbox for a day
