Most of them do have a progress bar.  For those that don't, the basis of the questions is likely to change before the end, moving into some extra demographic questions, or even questions as to how you liked the survey.  However, if you get one like you describe above, the only way is to keep pressing the Print Screen key every time you go to the next page, so you always have a screenshot of the last available page - probably starting from the stage where you think you would be annoyed if you were kicked out!  And in your particular case it would show that you were on page 6, so that tells them you hadn't just started.

So I reached 500000 lifetime points on Sb yesterday, and today I have woken up to see that they have deactivated my account! I had cashed out around £60 PayPal in recent days too. I’ve sent a request but for some reason im not feeling too hopeful about this! Any one with a similar experience?

Something they appear to do at random - Probably a coincidence for lifetime points, cost wise there is only a tiny difference between that and the previous level and no difference to the ongoing benefits

125 SB Discount on your next gift card redemption. - no different
Double SB on your next 3 survey completions. 1 extra survey
1,000 SB Bonus on your next cashback shopping purchase.* 500 SB more
2 additional hours to redeem any Swag Code** no different
Real-time shipment of 5 gift cards up to $50 (or £25) in value each month**no different
Get real-time access to your shopping SB for 2 transactions, up to 1,000 SB per transaction per month. Excludes Travel. Credits within 2 hours.** No different

The 1 mill level gets a 15,0000 SB bonus.

It was down for maintenance, then came back when the swagcode appeared, but now it's down again, just as I completed the games - didn't get my points for that.  I've just tried again and it's back up.

Unless you are happy with the equivalent of a tiny hourly rate swagbucks surveys should be avoided.
Better sites can be = to £12 an hour, £1 for 5 mins.
The SB surveys on offer to me at the moment have effective hourly rates based on the forecast times to complete, which are usually underestimates, so the figures would probably be a lower hourly rate than 29p, 68p,72p, 76p, 109p and the best one which was £2.80/hour (the very worst I have seen are theoremreach ones via SB that were less than 10p/hour).
