It's been quite a successful day today.

I am feeling a bit more positive on the money front today as there is light at the end of the tunnel (ie bonus payday soon) so I will be able to get back on track.

Also had a further 4 pound weight loss this evening which brings my total for the first 2 weeks to 13 pounds.    I would love to get another 4 next week so will stick to the diet and exercise plan.

Just had red lentil dhal from the freezer with some chicken which was yummy (even if I do say so myself)!  :p  And made a healthy salad for my day in the office tomorrow.  o:)

Been thinking more and more about horse riding again and I am so excited.  I will need to loose another 29 pounds before I go back which is probably going to take a couple of months although the weather should be great then so a nice incentive to get back to it!

I am quite surprised how much my mental state has improved this last couple of weeks.  I think it is just a combination of lots of things but I feel so much better and life just feels easier and more 'fun'.

I can't believe how fast time is flying by at the moment!  Work is manic but I have been sticking to my health eating regime which is already starting to have an impact on some of my other goals like saving money and reducing waste.  I am also doing long (1 hour plus) walks most days.  o:)

Working hours have gone a bit awry although it is hard to work out exactly how much extra I am doing.  :#  Avoided any weekend working the last couple of weeks and am starting later in the morning.  Think I have only done a couple of later nights but might start logging hours again to get an accurate picture.

Back at Slimming World tomorrow and a bit worried about whether or not I will have lost anything.  I have been pretty good bar one roast dinner (albeit with minimal roast potatoes) and a pizza at the weekend.

12 days until bonus payday so one of my key objectives for this weekend is to look at my budget and financial goals for the coming months and come up with some plans.  It will be so nice to have an extra long weekend with no (or very few) emails to come back to on Tuesday!

If you use the spray on one calorie type spray or even dry roast your roasties - they shouldn't have many syns. It's the gravy you have to watch out for the most.

    Enjoy your long weekend.

    Hi savingholmes and happy Easter!

I did shop bought ones this time but will be doing my own next time (to both save money and calories) so thanks for the tip!

It's the weekend! (Well quite a way into it now but hey ho!)  :D

Not much happening in money news really - just waiting for bonus pay day and trying not to spend.  Will be doing a full budget review and plan this weekend.

In other news I have just finished off my work and can finally shut down the laptop until Tuesday.  So nice to know I will be staring the week in a good place.  It allows me to chill and enjoy the weekend more.

Been making the most of the sunshine too - did a 2.8 mile walk yesterday and a 5 mile one today so feeling quite virtuous!  o:)  Food hasn't been so good and had takeaway twice yesterday plus some coffees so really not great but will be back on it now.  Need to push on ready for Slimming World next week.  Only managed to lose 2.5 pounds this week so need to do more next week or will slip behind on my horse-riding plans.

Having a family barbeque this evening which will be nice and then not much else planned for the weekend - bit more walking and then some jobs to do (including gardening, cleaning, shopping, etc).  Nice to potter and have time to do things though rather than just rushing around.

    Happy Easter to anyone reading!
