Power of attorney - only child

Hi
As my father grows older and his health continues to decline, I would like to start the process to obtain power of attorney over his health and finances.
I see there are many companies charging for this, but I'm also told it's fairly straight forward to DIY it.
As the only child and no partner, can anyone advise a good resource I can turn to?

You were given some good advice when you asked the same question back in September.

Have a look at the forms and do a dummy run for yourself. That should show you that it is not to difficult to DIY.0
