Eon next cleared out my credit

Just submitted my meter read today, had (two) received your meter read e-mail and - approx 45 minutes later - got my first pdf Bill from them via another e-mail. Seems almost correct (very slightly lower than my calculation, almost certainly due to rounding errors on the inc vat/exc vat calculations).
ex Symbio customer (with no credit to transfer).
You'd best tell us your opening meter read(s) with eOn (3rd/4th October) and the one you submitted today... plus the tariff rates for your location... Then we can help you to do the calculations, if necessary.0 -
Will do. They replied to my email and are investigating. I was surprised they debt the account without a bill.0

Mine gets debited on entering readings and bill usually turns up in app next day0
-
Ok, I've not had a bill yet despite doing readings each month since starting October.0
-
You used approx 3000 units in those 3 months - that would cost about £700
With no more DD's being taken your £130 credit would be rapidly eroded.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
That is about £680. As above as soon as you submit a read they calculate it and add the debit to the account, a bill should follow fairly quickly - mine was around an hour or so. Have you not submitted a read previously ? Just had my second bill after my end of Nov submission.m0bov said:I'm using a dual rate meter but on flat tariff.Day 22664Night 26211 3rd OctDay 24772Night 27152 31st DecNext Flex

Ok yet that figures, it was a £600 balance, I've done three readings but no bill. I think I am down one payment due to Symbio not taking it. Welcome to the price cap I suppose.0

PS you are very high user.
I assume you are all electric using panel heaters.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
So... They'll bill to 30th Dec using those meter reads.. 89 days standing charge @ £0.2404 / day = £21.40m0bov said:I'm using a dual rate meter but on flat tariff.(All rates inc. VAT)
Day 24772 - 22664 = 2108 + Night 27152 - 26211 = 941. So Units Total = 3048 units @ £ 0.2156 / kWh = £657.15
E.On Bill = £678.55 for 3 months of electric... Not quite what you have claimed in the OP?? So there's something "amiss" somewhere? Albeit not that far off?
Your pdf bill may be on its way - or log into your account to see if it's there yet? They do say it can take a couple of days...0
