UC and abroad

I am booking a holiday for 2 weeks in Benidorm around June 2022 (as I am paying my deposit on the 11th January when I get paid) and I am going on my own as I have never been abroad so I am looking forward to it - I am on Universal Credit which I am in the Work Capability Group as I don't have to look for work due to my mental health, I am going on this holiday to take my mind of my mental health, all I want to know, do I need to inform Universal Credit that I am going abroad for 2 weeks?
Any advice would be great thank you.

I thought I reply on here instead of creating another new topic. I have just had my second COVID vaccine this morning, I have got the NHS app, and I have been told it will come on after 5 days after. However, when I go to Benidorm, I need to show proof of these vaccines with COVID pass, if I screenshot these (I have already screenshot the first vaccine), will it be accept when I travel? or do they not accept screenshots? as I have heard this COVID pass expires after 30 days, is this correct?
I am also getting my booster in 15 weeks.0 -
There’s no way of knowing what the travel requirements will be by June 2022. As you will be aware requirements are subject to rapid change.
As regards telling UC, you are expected to tell them but it doesn’t actually affect your UC if you are away for less than a month. If you choose to tell them, you would do so at the time, not in advance.

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1 -
Suggest you ask your travel questions on the MSE travel board.
The UC will be fine if you only go for 2 weeks and are able to come back. And if you are able to complete any commitments you have online. If you have commitments coming up whilst you are due to be away then it would be best to discuss this with UC before leaving. If you get stranded out there for more than a month then you could find your UC being affected.1 -

OP, given that your Claimant Commitment includes work related activity it would be prudent to advise work coach of your intended absence (nearer the time).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1 -

6 months from now they may not be required or we may be on our 2nd booster! Who knows.

There is an option to create a PDF file within the app. Do that a few days before travel and everything will be fine.
