Octo-X, if you have contacts points of a reasonable area, then keying the surfaces and using Stixall or similar will almost certainly work. A tip would be to try and adhere the front on to the drawer body around its perimeter where leverage will have less effect.Stixall will fill a large gap - 5mm+ easily.A tube will cost around £5, but you'll only use a tube-inch of the stuff, and it's a terrific multi-purpose adhesive to have around the house in any case - I have repaired everything from shoes to car parts with it.1
