Symbio&Neon reef!!!

Has anyone been with either of these energy suppliers I was with the former then switched to the latter, now with BG,Still not been paid for what what I 've been told I am in credit,Symbio went  bust end of Sept .I  was not  switched to Eon as I switched to neon reef Monies owing  have been passed to Eon who are supposed to be sending out cheques Has anyone been paid yet ?? Still waiting to settle bills for Neon reef too.I hate owing money.and not knowing when I'll  be paid.

You chose not to follow the advice to wait it out until the SOLR had set-up your account before switching.  You took a gamble with Neon Reef and it did not pay off.  The penalty you are paying is the thing you hate, waiting longer to be paid and not knowing when.

I did the same as you. But, unbelievably, I actually owed Symbio some money so I had nothing to lose. NR owed me about £50 which I guess I'll have to wait for. I'm now switching to Octopus to get onto the Go tariff. The interim tariff is 37p per kWh so I really hope that there isn't any delay.

Good luck getting your refund out of Eon. Have you contacted them at all?

I received a cheque from eon next for symbio several weeks ago.
however I left them in July.
i don’t think it’s anything to do with neon reef.

Thanks,no I realise nothing to do with neon reef. All down to Eon now.I 've called them all I get it still processing cheques .Tbf it's only 8 weeks.

I actually switched from Symbio to neon reef on the very day they went bust before if was made official on the news,I d been looking to switch for about a week after poor communication from Symbio I know If I had waited I wouldn't be in this position.

I left symbio 2nd August due to a house move and got my cheque from Eon Next 3 weeks ago

I've been waiting for a refund from Neon Reef since July, whereas my credit from Symbio was transferred to Eon at the end of November.

Still awaiting my final bill from Symbio and despite many reminders still not forthcoming. I went live with Neon Reef on the 11 October. Also there is a credit of £35.00 due to me from Symbio.

OP, You're too impatient. I was with Utility Point and PfP which went bust before yours and haven't had final bills and money back yet. BG have got to sort mine out for one of these first!

I’ve only had 1 (green) final bill out of 4 (symbio, PfP, neon reef).
i like to keep my accounts in order but don’t really understand what the rush is.
