Thank you Coupon-mad - in your opinion do you think I should cut my loses and pay up? I'm concerned about losing and having to pay a lot more on top as well as it effecting my credit rating in terms of the county court judgement.

Many Thanks again for all your help and time to try and help fight these sharks. It's very cruel.

You won't be asked to pay any more that ~£200, so probably less than they are asking for. No affect on credit rating if you pay what the Judge orders by the deadline set. Don't look for problems that won't exist if you follow our guidance.

This isn't going to be easy, but most certainly, all is not lost!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

See, this is why you need to read the NEWBIES thread.  None of the above is true.

No huge added costs.  No CCJ.

    Obviously you don't pay.

    UPDATE

I received this today 25th January. I sent back the questionnaire on boxing day within the time. They obviously did not receive this. It looks like they are giving me another opportunity. I don't want to make the same mistakes as I previously did, before checking this is something I need to do, it looks pretty straight forward, I just don't want to rush into any responses again? Appreciate any advice again.

Probably the second worst day of the year to be sending anything to the CCBC!  In terms of 'sending', was that electronically or via Royal Mail?

Now, get downloading the N180 from the internet as detailed in the Court Order, then complete it as per the step-by-step advice in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, and send it electronically to the CCBC.

Then ring the CCBC the next day to check they got it.

The N180 also has to go to the Claimant's solicitor of course, so copy them in.

Thank you will do. Received this today. States they have included photographic evidence, but there isn’t anything included, unless I pay to see it.
