What was incorrect about the advice?mrsmarried said:
They do have a complaints process- it is just that we have not been able to access it due to being 'blocked' from going further or being told we had to wait for contact on their side which was promised on several occasions but did not occur.user1977 said:
Why? There's no general obligation on businesses to have any sort of "complaints" process, whether formal or not. If you want to enforce rights against them, ultimately you take them to court.mrsmarried said:
I am still surprised they are able to get away with not having a way to complain formally.
Please do not offer incorrect advice.0 -
It is not incorrect advice as such. Only regulated business are required to have a formal complaints process. Any other company is free to either have or not as they see fit.mrsmarried said:

If they do not then court is the only option, but even with a complaints process it is where you may end up.Life in the slow lane1
