Was there actually a formal Party Wall Agreement?Was the surveyor employed by you as your PW surveyor?Or did you ad the neighbour agree to share a single PW surveyor to act for you both?Or was this surveyor simply employed by the neighbour without any formal PW Agreement?0

I understand why, but I don't think it's a good idea to introduce another contractor into the mix here.Selectdecorator said:I want to be able to choose my own decorator. Let's say they give you a few hundred pounds, and you get your own decorator to patch up the cracks.
Then the cracks come back. They will just say they've paid to fix the damage and you've employed someone who hasn't done it right.
Talk to them. Let their builder patch up the cracks and see how you go .2
