what about the, we have been told that the oak worktops of House of Worktops were of good quality at a good price? Do you think that we can get the same prices for Oak Worktop in Wren Kitchens and Howdens?

Wren's reputation isn't great if there are delivery problems.  We had our kitchen from Howdens using an established builders account and some of the discounts were frankly ridiculous.  Some were in excess of 90%.  There 'catalogue prices' are a complete work of fiction.  However, any problems with the delivery were resolved in 24 hours.  For example, a number of wrong doors were delivered, and noticed quickly by the installer.  Correct item arrived the following door and the incorrect item removed.  We also had a problem with the built in oven, contacted Howdens, engineer came the following day and confirmed the problem.  New oven delivered and installed within 48 hours.

Have you considered ikea? We love ours.  They also offer interest free credit. We got our appliances separately. We got a whole lot of kitchen for under £3k.

are they all with MDF core or Chipboard core? It is important to know as MDF is more expensive
