My husband called to make a payment, he was told sorry we can't take payments over the phone until you are in arrears :mad: . So at 5 to 9 the morning he goes into arrears we receive a call, we were in bed so didn't answer but did call them back at half 9, made the payment and since then were called 4 other times throughout the day, each time explaining we had made the payment. Is there anything we can do to stop these calls.

I must add that the reason we don't go in and pay is that there isn't a bank near us.

Yes. Make at least the minimum payment on time each month. There are several ways to do this. Which method of payment do you normally use?

Presumably you knew this when you signed up for the Co-op card. Why don't you pay online? Doesn't your current account allow you to pay bills this way?
