Hi all
please non judgements
id like to cut down on my spending and tend to buy when I’m depressed
Ive tried to seek help for my mental health and spending and have contacted Frontline and CAB but they never got back to me
There is no counselling
I am a carer for my dad and have two young children
Is there any trustworthy apps that I could use to help me budget etc
i looked at some threads here but they were quite out of date
Wasn’t sure where else to turn. TIA.

Hi didn’t want to read and run, breaking the habit of spending especially to make you feel better is hard. I don’t know if any apps but you could check out the charity Mind https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/. I’ve also found a basic budget sheets on the iPh0ne in numbers and in google sheets. They helped me a lot when getting to grips with spending.
Good luck on your journey and keep posting you will find support here.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022[/center]🎉

Many on here use YNAB as a budgeting tool. I don’t have any experience of this tool, but I have used and do use the spending tracker app. You basically input your spending and it really helps to focus one’s mind on where the money is going. The information is displayed in the form of bar charts or pie charts and really helps to understand spending habits and amend them if needed.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 .
