Bulb Energy Current Situation

Hope someone out in MSE-land could give me some advice please. We have our electricity/gas with Bulb and currently haven't cancelled our direct debit. We haven't had a new supplier appointed yet, nor received any new bills since it was announced they'd gone into special measures/administration. Our credit balance is now quite large, but I don't want to cause any problems if Bulb is still being "run" by the administrators Teneo. Should I cancel my direct debit even though there is no info on what is happening to Bulb?

You won't get moved anywhere supplier wise because The Bulb situation not a standard SOLR process:How long this situation remains for remains to be seen.0

Don't cancel the DD, email them and ask for it to be lowered or to get some of your credit returned. In my experience they are still replying to emails.0

In their account pages they offered customers the option to reduce DD's I don't know if it's still available, I never lowered mine and built up £900 credit before I left them. I could have lowered mine to as little as £11 per month.t0rt0ise said:Don't cancel the DD, email them and ask for it to be lowered or to get some of your credit returned. Yes but they put a limit on it so that they don't let you lower it by very much. They make out you're in control but you aren't really.wild666 said:
