In other news, I have been very taken with this idea recently, and every time I do something around the house find myself thinking "Because I love Monday guy" 🥰: https://www.raptitude.com/2026/06/do-things-youll-love-yourself-for

When is it SC, and how did you decide on it?

It's something I've been giving a lot of thought to recently.

Straight line extrapolation of the current budget and savings/investments is all well and good, but I keep stumbling over the great unknown of how much might be needed to help guide our children into adulthood (university, housing, etc).

As usual, decided to put fingers in ears and kick the ball into the long grass as a "problem for another time". Makes all my "planning" a little farcical really!

The LISA transfer has finally completed. That one felt like it took AGES! 16 days' worth of interest squandered (which at the new rate is £62.24 😬)

That took a while 😅 Thanks for the reminder to pay some cash into my LISA to pay fees. I might only have invested a wee cheeky £25, but they still want my fees!
